In my photography course ART 241 at UVIC I dove into the world of black and white film photography. Using an SLR camera I explored light, texture and contrast through traditional darkroom techniques. My work combines the traditional process with experimental digital altercations of the original photos. I was intrigued by the combination of the two mediums and how they would be able to work together in a meaningful way.
